Purpose and legal basis for processing

We process your personal data solely to the extent necessary for the provision of healthcare, in accordance with Act No. 372/2011 Coll. on health services, Act No. 101/2000 Coll. on the protection of personal data, and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).

We process in particular the following categories of data:

  • Identification and contact details (name, date of birth, address, phone, e-mail)
  • Medical records and notes on care provided
  • Data necessary for healthcare billing

Recipients of personal data

We do not share your data with third parties except where required by law (e.g. health insurance companies, public authorities) or with your explicit consent.

Retention period

Medical records are retained for the period prescribed by applicable law (generally 10 years from the last entry; longer for surgical procedures in accordance with statutory requirements).

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the following rights:

  • Right of access — you may request information about what data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — you have the right to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
  • Right to erasure — subject to GDPR conditions, you may request the deletion of your data.
  • Right to data portability — you have the right to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object — you may object to the processing of your data under certain conditions.
